Most are starting as "Receive-only" and are anticipated to set up for "Send" to other Financial Institutions to improve payments for a number of Use Cases that will benefit from Instant Payments. Blueflame has seen end-user interest for P2P and C2B urgent Bill Pay and B2B for small to mid-sized businesses that have challenges using ACH and Wires. The Good-funds model will help with areas like auto financing and real estate where checks are too slow and lack the finality needed. Mobile Wallet funding is gaining traction for earned wage access among other payment opportunities.
5th Annual Mobile Bill Pay and Presentment Potential and Progress Survey is closed. Participants reports have been shared documenting Mobile moving from a Novelty to a Necessity for billers.
Building on the 2012 - 2016 Mobile Bill Pay and Presentment Benchmarking surveys and the eBilling Studies, Blueflame Consulting is conducting this year's survey to measure the rate of Mobile Bill Pay adoption. This research explores billers' perspectives about the potential for leveraging customers' mobile devices for customer self-service and enhancing paperless electronic billing and payment processes. This confidential survey also asks about the pace and possible approaches that billers are considering for Mobile device applications.

Biller Research - Direct Payment via ACH Study
We analyzed the results of this confidential survey which was sponsored by NACHA to gather Billers' Perspectives and Satisfaction with Direct Payment via ACH, Benchmark Adoption and Identify Best Practices. The research explored one-time and recurring Consumer Bill Payment across channels and methods among a broad range of biller sizes and vertical markets. Participants received a free summary of the study results.

NACHA Bill Pay Exceptions Benchmarking Study
Blueflame Consulting conducted a survey of over 70 large Billers, FIs and Bill Pay Processors to gather updated statistics on exception rates and to identify best practices for NACHA's Council for Electronic Billing and Payment. The survey has closed; results were shared through NACHA's CEBP.
